John Himes Memorial Stone Art Show at the Gordon Center for Performing Arts, Owings Mills, MD.
Exhibition of Contemporary Stone Sculpture by colleagues of John Himes, a respected educator and artist

The Gordon Center is a Maryland arts venue regularly featuring national, regional and local performing artists, with periodic exhibition.  In a special exhibition in its lobby to honor the contributions of John Himes to the world of art and sculpture, the venue invited three stone carvers, including myself, to display works.  Prominently displayed in the lobby of the Gordon Center were four of my sculptures: "Mother Love", a mother penguin and her chicks carved in white translucent alabaster; "Hugs", an abstract carved from Indian apple green alabaster; "Shofar", an alabaster replica of a rams horn blown on certain special Jewish holidays; and;"Peace and Blessings", a marble sculpture of various Jewish symbols.
